Motability: The road to freedom
Test drive your Mobility Allowance
All our Mitsubishi dealerships are Motability approved and have two specialists on hand to advise you.
We can help if you are:
Entitled to Higher Rate Mobility component of Disability Living Allowance. Registered disabled.

Just choose the scheme that suits you best

There are three main ways we can help you to acquire a new car, including two which are based on the Higher Rate component of DLA.

Motability 3-year Contract Hire

Motability 3 year contractThis scheme is what 95% of our Motability customers prefer, because it takes care of everything. You get a brand new car, serviced, maintained and insured for three years - you even have roadside assistance cover. All you pay for is fuel and oil.

The way it works is very simple. After you've paid an advance payment (where applicable), your Higher Rate Mobility Allowance is transferred to Motability Operations to cover the costs. At the end of the three years, you just return the car and choose a new one. You need at least 12 months' award length remaining when when you apply.

Motability Hire PurchaseThis allows you to buy virtually any new or used vehicle at a substantial discount, simply by transferring all or part of your Allowance over four or five years (provided that the amount is sufficient to cover your repayments). Because the car is yours to keep at the end of the period, this option allows you to make any permanent adaptations which may be necessary. Your allowance must be due to run for the full length of the agreement.

Outright Purchase

Outright PurchaseThis gives you the advantage of buying almost any new vehicle at a discount of up to 10% without using the Allowance at all. It's the ideal solution if you're registered disabled but not eligible for the Allowance, or have less than 3 years of the Allowance remaining.
